Watch Dune: Part Two, A Quiet Place: Day One, IF, Wonka, and more this December on Showmax
Showmax is set to offer an exciting holiday content lineup with its “Holiday Tree-Ts for You” festive campaign. This December, subscribers get to enjoy top international movies and series all month long.
Leading the pack is the psychological thriller Eileen, starring Critics’ Choice nominee Thomasin McKenzie (Last Night in Soho, Jojo Rabbit) and Oscar winner Anne Hathaway (The Devil Wears Prada). Dubbed “the anti-Christmas movie you never knew you needed” by Vogue, Eileen will be available to stream starting December 2.
The Killer, directed by legendary action filmmaker John Woo (Mission: Impossible II, Face/Off), also premieres on December 2. The movie stars Emmy nominee Nathalie Emmanuel, best known for her role as Missandei in Game of Thrones.
Wonka, inspired by Roald Dahl’s classic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, arrives on Showmax on December 6.
For family-friendly entertainment, heartwarming classics such as IF, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, and Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit will be available from December 9.
Fans of international series will get to enjoy top titles such as My Brilliant Friend Season 4, available to binge from 2 December; Based On a True Story Season 2, available from 3 December; and 30 Rock Seasons 1-7, available from 5 December.
The Emperor of Ocean Park Season 1 will debut on 6 December on Showmax, while Chicago Med Season 9 will be available to stream from 11 December.
Additionally, Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero, a documentary following the Grammy-winning rapper’s first-ever headlining US tour, and John Early: Now More Than Ever, an HBO comedy special, will stream from December 12.
