 Ogun: Group Adopts Yayi As 2027 Governorship Candidate

ABEOKUTA-  A group, Yayi's Liberators Group has adopted Senator Olamilekan Adeola Solomon popularly known as Yayi as a credible candidate for the 2027 governorship In Ogun state

The founder of the group, Comrade Ibrahim Fayomi,  a.k.a Olumako made this known during their general meeting at the Golden Heart Hall, Iyesi-Ota on Thursday.

He stated that no fewer than 9900 residents in Ogun west senatorial district have benefitted from Senator Olamilekan Solomon a.k.a Yayi's empowerment programmes in the area.

Fayomi said "at the inception of the general election early this year, we instructed our members to vote Senator Olamilekan Solomon saying this is the first meeting to proof his effectiveness and efficiency adding that an appeal has been sent to him to contest in 2027 governorship election  in Ogun State.

"Senator Olamilekan Solomon has performed excellently well in Lagos State, just within 5 months as a senator in Ogun West,  those who are liabilities on us have been liberated through various empowerment programmes. 

"They are now on their own doing well,  though,  we are not financially buoyant,  but,  we are saving money to buy him ticket",  Fayomi said.

He said through Yayi's good rapport with Governor Dapo Abiodun, the Federal Government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have seeded the Lagos- Abeokuta Expressway to Ogun for rehabilitation, adding that Abiodun will like to reckon and handover to credible and reliable hand to continue with all inclusive initiative in Ogun State.

Meanwhile, the Agbaakin, Dr. Fayomi Oluwakayode from Ogun East said it is important for them as an  " Explorer Group " in Ogun East to be part of the initiative to adopt Senator Olamilekan Solomon as the credible candidate in 2027 having seen his various human capital developmental programmes in Ogun West.

Dr. Oluwakayode added that this gesture should be replicable to the three senatorial districts in Ogun West which can only be possible if only he is adopted as the credible Governor in 2027.

He emphasized on Senator Olamilekan Solomon's developmental programmes to include: Intensive  Care Units (ICU), at various Health Centers in Ogun West, distribution of transformers in Imeko-Afon,  Ipokia, Yewa and Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, distribution of sewing machines among others.

Also in his contributions,  a Consultant on Education and Sport,  Prince Gbadejo Oluwasegun Judge a.k.a Nasega, said he took his group time to conduct a lot of researches to proof Senator Olamilekan Solomon as the most reliable and credible APC Governorship candidate in 2027 having observed his various  developmental tentacles within his jurisdiction.

On behalf of other attendees, Mrs Folashade Omoningbeni said the group ably led by Ibrahim Fayomi (Olumako) will not relent in its efforts at ensuring Senator Olamilekan as the only substantial APC Governorship candidate in 2027 enjoining others to support through the three Senatorial districts in Ogun State.
