Two Children Missing In Delta After Neighbour Took Them To Market


Announcing their disappearance, the Delta State Police Command in a statement on Tuesday stated that the unnamed neighbour took the missing children from their mother on August 27 at about 11am to the market to buy clothes for them but never returned till date.

Two children identified as Chinyere Amago (male) and Chiziterm Amago (female) in the Oko area of Delta State have been declared missing after their neighbour took them to a market.

Announcing their disappearance, the Delta State Police Command in a statement on Tuesday stated that the unnamed neighbour took the missing children from their mother on August 27 at about 11am to the market to buy clothes for them but never returned till date.

The statement shared on its Twitter page read, "Chinyere Amago (m) and Chiziterm (f) of power line by Oko, Delta State whose photographs are on your screen have been reported missing. They are dark in complexion, no tribal marks, speak Igbo and English Language fluently.

"The victims were taken from the mother by their neighbour, name unknown on 27/08/2022 at about 1100hrs to the market to buy them clothes and have not returned home.

“Anyone with useful information of the whereabouts of the victims should report to “B”Division Asaba, PPRO’s office. You can also call our complaint lines or the nearest police station."
