 "I Beheaded My Son For Ritual Purpose & Buried His Body By The Palm Tree" - 33 Year-old Suspect

A thirty three (33) year-old man named Gabriel Volts got arrested by the Delta State's Police Command.

Confirming the arrest was Delta State's Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Bright Edafe, who affirmed the that the suspect confessed saying, "I beheaded my son for ritual purpose and buried his body by the palm tree."

The Delta State's PPRO revealed that according to investigations, the suspect used a hand saw to cut off (behead) his son who is just a year and eight months at a bush named Etinabobo in Edo state.

The suspect was said to have been arrested after his wife noticed that their son was missing . The wife asked of their son's whereabout and the suspect said he went to drop him with his relative who resides in Warri.

After some investigations by the wife, it turned out that the husband was lying. Angered over this, the wife reported to men of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) which however led to the arrest of the suspect.
