It was a jubilation in Ikogbo, Ejila, Imoshe and it’s environs as the leader of notorious cultist and land grabber, Adekunle Isaac Ajose, (aka Baba Isila), who has been terrorising the communities, was on Monday November 8, 2021, arrested by men of Igbesa Divisional Police Station.
A source who refused to mention his name for fear of attack, said he has been transferred to Force Headquarters, Abuja for further interogation before prosecution.
The anonymous person said Ajose, and his other gang members have been declared wanted over their involvement in series of crime activities which include bonkering, vandalisation of Ikogbo Police Station, robbery, attack on property owners, unjustly threatening lives and damaging of properties in the communities.

Other members, he mentioned include Ibraheem Fasasi Bello; Taofik Ajose (aka Portable); Solomon Ajose (aka Aliyah) Rasaki Odunoye; Soliu Odunoye, saying they have fled immediately their leader was arrested.
He said: “Many residents have abandoned their houses because of fear and their malicious damages to properties. They always attack people with guns, matchets and other dangerous weapons.
“Residents have on September 19, 2020, written petition to Ogun State Government, Police and Department of State Security Services (DSS) over their crime activities and was published in one of the Nigeria widely read newspaper.
“Police have arrested four among them on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, after their attacked to Ikogbo Police Station, vandalised patrol van,  sporadically shooting to police officers and snatched gun from a police officer on September 23, 2020.”
He said residents of Imoshe and Ikogbo communities found it difficult to sleep with their two eyes closed due to daily attacked by this criminal elements due to the level of insecurity within the area
“They have no specific job rather than robbery and land grabbing. They always come to hide in Imoshe community whenever they rob in Lagos or Ogun states'” he added.
Another source disclosed that a 33 years old Ajose’s junior brother, Bello, who is junior brother to Fasasi Bello, is serving a jail term in Kirikiri Maximum Prison in Lagos State after found guilty to the charge of robbery.
He said Bello was arrested with one Kazeem, including a 26 years old Hassan, by operatives of Rapid Response Squad (RRS), of the Lagos State Police Command for robbery.
He revealed that Bello, was the gang’s armourer and was caught with two guns and machetes. He said they both confessed of cult gangs and have specialised in placing orders for phones online, and then rob the delivery men.
He said they also confessed to have shot an RRS police officer in LASU/Igando area, saying he learned his shooting skills as a cultist.
Another source revealed that they always converged in the morning infront of Ikogbo Police Station before moving to the area they wanted to attacked, adding that the symbols of eiye confraternity were drawn in their chests.
He said the residents are calling on police authorities both in Ogun, Lagos and Force Headquarters as well as the anti-land grabbing Task Force to save them from these mindless attacks by hoodlums and let justice prevail on whoever that is arrested.
“We want Police to come and do thorough investigations to unravel other atrocities of this hoodlums to enable peace returned to the communities. They always contacted other cult members from other communities and their godfather who is also a land grabber specialist to commit crime,” he said.
It was learnt that contempt of court was filled against them on November 30, 2020 but they refused to appear in court as they prove more superior than any court.
